COVID-19 Consideration

We have rescheduled this year's festival to Sunday, October 18, 2020.  Ticket sales will resume this summer as long as our date stays viable.  All current ticket holders have been contacted via email.

If you have any questions or comments please contact the festival director, Katie Moore at wncctcmcf@gmail.com.

Support WNC Cheese Trail Members

Below are ways to support our Trail cheese makers and other members during the Covid-19 crisis.

This is a critical time for our nation as we address the challenges presented by the Covid-19 crisis.  Top priority is to stay healthy and work to prevent the spread of Covid-19.  We also want the small businesses that are unique to our region, and an important part of our economy, to make it through.  We encourage you to review the suggestions below and help our Trail members in this time of need.

Become a Cheese Fan

Join the WNC Cheese Trail and support our work.  Click HERE to learn how to become a member.

Buy Direct - check with our cheese makers to see how they're selling their products

Visit the WNC Cheese Trail Cheese Maker page on the Trail website.  There you'll find direct links to our local cheese makers.  Some are offering online sales w/shipment, others are offering online orders w/pick-up, and some are offering curbside pick up at their creameries.  Call first to see the best way for you to get your cheese fix!

ASAP Farmer's Market

For now there is still a chance to buy directly from some of our makers and local farmers by shopping at the ASAP Farmer's Market being held at AB Tech.  Be sure to check the ASAP website for up-to-date information.

Follow the Trail on Facebook and Instagram

We're posting updates about all of our members and the creative, healthy ways they're making their products and services available.

Each year we offer three pairings and 2020 will be no exception.  We also have our annual chef competition where local chef's battle it out for two awards - the People's Choice Award and the Food Critic's Award.
